In line with RTL's new visual direction I've worked on a fresh clean illustration and animation set for Videoland.

Two very colourful animation routes for a Booking Top 3 Getaway Destinations. With the help of a custom-made system these routes are completely customisable. Titles, animations and (stock) footage can be replaced. Plus there’s a selection of 5 themes to choose from including Summer, Winter, Autumn and Spring. Also created per theme is a library of more then 70 little travel-related animations which can be placed in all of the various sized edits.

A little refresh for Simyo, a Sim Only provider. The refresh provides new elements to play with. Basic shapes that can be used for several purposes; logos, backgrounds, illustrations and little quirky icons aptly named Simicons. Bringing a clean and fun design to strengthen the visual language.

De Lamas - Backer in action is a comedy improv show. This years edition in the ziggo dome featured a mystic Peruvian themed set and backstory. These are a couple of visuals that merged with the set accompanying the show. On top of the background seperate elements could be triggered to match the scenes on stage. And at the beginning of the shows a little intro animation welcomed everyone into the story.

The Mahler Festival is hosted by the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. For this festival a docu-series is created to dive deeper into each of Mahler’s Movements. A series of animations accompanies each episode to portray Mahler’s vision of the ‘Hero’s Journey’ that runs through all the symphonies.

As an hommage to the 50th birthday of Paradiso (famous music venue in Amsterdam) 50 designers are asked to create a poster for this celebration. The silk screen printed posters are displayed at an exposition in Paradiso and will be sold as limited editions online.

Wihayo is a premium triple distilled soju; the first in Europe. Wihayo is a unique Soju made with a traditional Korean recipe.

Together with Smorgasbord we created a sleak animation to launch Wihayo to the market with some class and style.

A series of animations created for Philips. For over 15 years, Philips and the Rijksmuseum have worked together with the aim to link individuals with art and history. These series of animations show the stories of objects and paintings from the Rijksmuseum and how healthcare has evolved since.

London Calling is the showcase festival for new bands in Paradiso, Amsterdam. Twice a year Paradiso hosts this two-day-festival and this year they've asked me to create a new identity that's versatile for them to work with in print and online.

We chose to focus on a core idea – ‘inspiring personal progress’. We translated this into a visual system based on continual forward motion combined with a Kubrick inspired single-point perspective. This meticulous approach to camera movements, shot framing and typographical animation meant that all moving elements shared a cohesive look that was unmistakably RTLZ, where it’s business, not as usual.
